Accessibility approach

The site is built with semantic HTML, one clear H1 per page, labelled search fields, visible focus states, keyboard-accessible navigation and responsive layouts. The aim is to meet WCAG 2.2 AA where practical for a static educational website.

Keyboard use

Main navigation, search controls, alphabet links, category filters and term links are designed to work with a keyboard. Glossary letter links remain normal anchors if JavaScript is unavailable.

Reduced motion and contrast

The CSS respects reduced motion preferences and uses high-contrast text colours against light and dark backgrounds.

Accessibility issues can be raised through the contact page so they can be reviewed and corrected.
